Human Resources handles employment applications and ensures that personnel policies and procedures are followed and applied equitably for all employees.
All regular city positions require submission of a completed city application form. Some positions also require a supplemental questionnaire. The application (and supplemental questionnaire, if applicable) must be postmarked by the application deadline.
Use of Application Information
The information you provide, including your name, is confidential until/unless you become a finalist. We use the information you provide to determine suitability for employment, so it is important to be as complete and accurate as possible.
When we have a large number of applicants, we use the information to rate applicants based on job-related education and experience. We then schedule interviews of the top-rated applicants. For some positions we use a written test to determine the interview group. Applications are accepted during the recruitment period only.
