Crazy Days Fair & Festival
The Crazy Days Fair and Festival is held from July 18 through July 20, 2013. Crazy Days is hosted by the Excelsior Downtown Business Group.

Excelsior Farmer's Market
The Excelsior Farmer's Market is held on Thursdays from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm., from May 2 through October 31.  Mount Calvary Lutheran Church parking lot, 301 County Rd. 19.  Accessible from Water and George Streets.  Follow the signs.  Fresh produce, flowers, honey, jams, beef, lamb, chicken, plants, herbs, baked goods, and more.  The market is sponsored by the South Lake Excelsior Chamber of Commerce. Excelsior Fire District
The Excelsior Fire District sponsors a number of events each year, which include the Excelsior Firefighter's Annual Fundraiser Dance (Friday, July 19, 2013), South Lake Safety Camp (Wednesday, August 7, 2013), the Excelsior Firefighter Relief Association's Annual Goal Tournament, the Fire Prevention Open House and Safety Fair (Thursday, October 3, 2013), The Kid's Free Movie (Saturday, December 1, 2012), and the Christmas Giving Tree Project (Kickoff, Saturday, December 7, 2013).  For more information, contact the Excelsior Fire District at (952) 401-8801.

Girls Night Out is hosted by the Excelsior Downtown Business Group. It's held every Thursday beginning June 6 through August 29, 2013.

Tour de Tonka
Bike riding event for all ages is held on Saturday, August 3, 2013.  Bike routes are 17, 23, 40, 70, and 100 miles.  More information is available at Tour de Tonka.
