Overview
The Planning Commission plays a key role in shaping Excelsior's physical and economic development. The Commission is responsible for reviewing and making recommendations on matters such as redevelopment proposals, rezoning requests, Planned Unit Developments (PUDs), Subdivisions, Conditional Use Permits, Variances, and Design Reviews. The Planning Commission ensures development decisions align with the City's zoning regulations and comprehensive plan to support the overall welfare of the community.
