Effective October 17, 2022, Ordinance No. 639, adopted by the Excelsior City Council, provides that no person shall sell or offer to sell any Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) product without first having obtained a license to do so from the city. The ordinance limits the number of licenses that can be issued to two.
The two available THC licenses that applicants could apply for have been issued. Accordingly, if your establishment did not receive a THC license from the City of Excelsior, you may not sell THC products in Excelsior. Sales of THC products without a license is a violation of City Ordinance No. 639 and the City may prosecute as a misdemeanor for any alleged violation.
